Fellowships
Research and education go hand-in-hand. And Pioneer Hi-Bred has a long tradition of supporting both in the form of fellowships.
Honorary Plant Breeding Fellowships
The Pioneer Hi-Bred Honorary Plant Breeding Fellowships promote graduate education in plant breeding and genetics, and attract high-quality students whose future careers will continue to advance the science of plant breeding. The fellowships honor the contributions of 10 outstanding Pioneer plant breeders who have made significant contributions to developing commercial products that have greatly improved crop productivity.
A Fellowship Committee established by Pioneer will review applications and select recipients based on their qualifications, including academic excellence; proposed study program/area, with consideration given to agronomic crops such as corn, soybeans, canola, sorghum, sunflower, wheat, alfalfa and rice; future professional plans; leadership and other experiences.
Funding Limit: $25,000/year for the duration of the fellowship.
