Training to support pearl millet breeding and seed production in eastern and southern Africa

The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) regional office for eastern and southern Africa, organized a training course on pearl millet improvement and improving seed production at Moshi, Tanzania in November 2011. Among those invited to speak at the workshop was Dr. RS Mahala, Research coordinator from Pioneer Hi-Bred’s India subsidiary, PHI Seeds Ltd., who formed part of the ICRISAT delegation of speakers from India.
