Pioneer Hi-Bred Seeds Ethiopia P.L.C. began operations in Ethiopia in December of 1990 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. Proprietary Pioneer® brand corn and sunflower hybrids are sold in the Ethiopia through professional sales representative and an efficient distributorship which links Pioneer with Ethiopian farmers. In addition, Pioneer provides field support services to the farmers.
