Supplemental N Fertilization in Soybeans

Soybeans have a high demand for nitrogen because of high protein content in the seed. Supplying appropriate amounts of N fertilization at the right times may stimulate plant growth and increase yield. This report discusses the results of studies by Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., and several universities concerning soybean response to supplemental N fertilizer applications.
