Pioneer entered the Argentine marketplace in 1986. The business has delivered six years of significant growth thanks to increased research efforts and the development of newer, more competitive products. Pioneer also sells a limited amount of soybean, sunflowers, sorghum and alfalfa, primarily as additional services to leading corn customers.

Pioneer has about 100 full time employees in four locations in Argentina including:

• Production plant at Salto that handles local production for Argentina as well as winter production for the United States and other markets
