Foliar Fungicide Effects on Corn Yield

Generally positive yield responses have driven increased use of foliar fungicides by corn growers. Though Pioneer research has most often confirmed the value of fungicide application, it has also revealed instances in which the fungicide was not profitable To improve understanding of what factors most influence hybrid response to fungicides, a survey was conducted of fungicide efficacy data from recent Pioneer side-by-side field trials and 10 years of university research trials.
