Managing Autotoxicity in Alfalfa

Autotoxicity is the negative effect of well-established alfalfa plants on the germination, emergence and vigor of new alfalfa seedings. Understanding the factors affecting autotoxicity will help to develop management recommendations that are transferable across a range of soils and environments.
