| Product Use Guides for Hybrids with Herculex® and YieldGard® Traits | | Pioneer requires that all growers purchasing hybrids with Herculex® I Insect Protection, Herculex® RW^ Rootworm Protection, Herculex® XTRA^ Insect Protection or the YieldGard® Corn Borer gene to sign a Pioneer Hi-Bred Technology Agreement. By signing, the grower agrees to implement an insect resistance management (IRM) program as specified in the appropriate Product Use Guide and to cooperate with insect resistance management programs and research.
The IRM program includes planting of a non-resistant corn refuge, following EPA-mandated use restrictions and other steps outlined in the following guides:
