Pioneer established business operations in France in 1962. Our French subsidiaries are Pioneer Génétique, Pioneer Semences, and Pioneer Hi-Bred with registered offices in Aussonne.
Pioneer Génétique includes the following operations:

French research locations of the worldwide network

• European support for regulatory issues, variety registration, and biotech field releases
• Industrial production of parent seeds for corn, sunflower, and canola
• Industrial production of commercial seeds for corn, sunflower, and canola
• Seed quality control laboratory
• Logistics center for conveying parent seeds to European production sites and commercial seeds to dealers in France, Europe, and Morocco.

Pioneer Semences includes marketing and seed sales for the French territory, plus administration of Pioneer subsidiaries in France. Pioneer Hi-Bred operations include European support for PVP (plant variety protection) and sunflower oil production under contract.

Pioneer has about 250 full-time employees in France at 4 locations, including:

• Sales and administrative headquarters in Aussonne
• Research locations in Aussonne, Epuiseau, Montech, and Pacé
• Production facility and Quality control lab in Aussonne
