Pioneer entered this market in 1981 with corn, sunflower, rapeseed, and inoculant product lines.

Pioneer^® brand products are sold and distributed through a commissionaire system. Of special note is that the Pioneer team received a 2004 DuPont Marketing Excellence Award for business growth achieved through this commissionaire program.
