Each year, reports from the field indicate that some corn hybrids record significantly lower yields on a yield monitor than on a weigh wagon. Hybrid grain characteristics may play a role in this problem. For this reason, Pioneer and Ag Leader Technology conducted a two-year study to determine if grain test weight and moisture consistently affect yield monitor accuracy. This article reports the results of that study.
