Jeff Rowe, Vice President, Biotech Affairs

Jeff Rowe is vice president, Biotech Affairs, with responsibility for Pioneer product stewardship, biotech and regulatory affairs, government and industry relations, community investment and sustainable agriculture and development.

Jeff joined Pioneer in 1995 as a supply analyst. He has served as a senior associate in Regulatory Sciences and as a legal support manager in Life Cycle Information Management. In 2001, Jeff joined the legal department as a legal support manager, and later he became corporate counsel for Regulatory Affairs, Supply Management, Information Management, Government Affairs and Biotech Affairs. Jeff was named vice president of Biotech Affairs in 2008. He is a member of the Enterprise Leadership Council.

A native of Princeton, Ill., Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in agricultural economics. He holds a Master of Science degree in plant molecular biology, also from Iowa State University, and a juris doctorate degree from Drake law school.

Jeff serves on the board for the Iowa Association of Business and Industry Visit ABI (ABI) and the Global Harvest Initiative (formerly known as the Alliance for Abundant Food, Fuel and Energy). He also serves on the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) Visit BIO Food and Ag Governing Board, as well as the Crop Life International (CLI) Plant Biotech Strategy Council.
