Weigh Wagon vs. Yield Monitor Comparison

Combine-mounted grain yield monitors are used throughout the Corn Belt to compare hybrids and varieties in side x side strip plots. However, concerns exist about the accuracy of these monitors and the impact of decisions based on them. This Crop Insights evaluates the performance of commercial yield monitors compared to weigh wagons in corn strip plot experiments.
