Pioneer established a legal entity in Romania in 1993. Current product lines sold include corn, soybeans, sunflower, and inoculants.

Our products are sold and distributed through a network of dealers and promoters throughout Romania. Pioneer completed construction of a new production facility in Ganeasa in 2006. At full capacity, the facility is capable of processing more than 20,000 metric tones of seed corn and 2500 metric tones of sunflower seed - crucial to meeting the increasing demand for seed in Europe.

Pioneer has 43 full-time employees in Romania at three locations, including:
