Pioneer Croatia was established as a legal entity in 1994 with corn, sunflower, and inoculant product lines sold through dealers and promoters.

Pioneer has about 25 full-time employees in Croatia at two locations, including:

• Sales and administrative headquarters in Zagreb (9 employees)
• Production facility in Osijek (Company Pioneer Hi-Bred Production d.o.o. was establish in 2004. in Osijek.; 19 full time employees, bagging lines capacity 300.000/80Mk)
