PROBOX® Seed Handling System

Producers who prefer to handle seed in bulk appreciate the added convenience, time savings and safety features of the PROBOX® Seed Handling System from Pioneer.

The rigid injection-molded PROBOX container holds up to 50 units of seed (the equivalent of 50, 50-pound bags) and is available for corn, soybeans, sorghum and winter wheat. The container's smooth, seamless interior and center-drain hopper permits complete seed discharge in 30 seconds or less. An easy-to-open, flow control slide allows one person standing alongside the container to effortlessly remove all or part of the seed.

Transporting, stacking and unloading of the container can be accomplished using a heavy-duty forklift, front-end loader equipped with forks, or a three-point forklift attachment on the rear of a tractor. The container protects against rodents and other pests during storage. Although not designed for outdoor seed storage, the unit is nearly weather-tight. So if you get caught in a sudden rain, there is a reduced risk of seed getting wet.
