PROBOX® Seed Handling System

Producers who prefer to handle seed in bulk appreciate the added convenience, time savings and safety features of the PROBOX® Seed Handling System from Pioneer.

The rigid injection-molded PROBOX container holds up to 50 units of seed (the equivalent of 50, 50-pound bags) and is available for corn, soybeans, sorghum and winter wheat. The container's smooth, seamless interior and center-drain hopper permits complete seed discharge in 30 seconds or less. An easy-to-open, flow control slide allows one person standing alongside the container to safely and effortlessly remove all or part of the seed.

Transporting, stacking and unloading of the container can be accomplished using a heavy-duty forklift, front-end loader equipped with forks, or a three-point forklift attachment on the rear of a tractor. The container protects against rodents and other pests during storage. Although not designed for outdoor seed storage, the unit is nearly weather-tight. So if you get caught in a sudden rain, there is a reduced risk of seed getting wet.
