Clubroot Management

Clubroot in canola is an economical disease of great importance for Western Canada.  It is a soil-borne disease cause by a pathogen that induces gall formation on infected roots of susceptible plants.  In parts of Western Canada it can be devastating, causing up to 80% yield loss in infected canola fields.
