Industry Leading Genetics Plus Weed Control Options

Many Pioneer® brand corn hybrids and soybean varieties have in-plant resistance to popular herbicides, providing flexibility in control options. Your Pioneer sales professional can help you evaluate hybrids and varieties, field by field, emphasizing genetics first and then determining which herbicide program or system is best to control your weeds.

Pioneer corn hybrids with the Roundup Ready® Corn 2 gene and soybean varieties with the Roundup Ready gene - These traits provide resistance to glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup® herbicide.

Pioneer corn hybrids with the LibertyLink® gene - This trait provides in-plant resistance to Ignite®, a non-selective, postemergence herbicide that offers relatively quick contact action on many tough grass and broadleaf weeds.

LibertyLink®   LL - Contains the LibertyLink® gene for resistance to Liberty® herbicide.
Liberty®, LibertyLink® and the Water Droplet Design are trademarks of Bayer.

Roundup Ready® Corn 2   RR2 - Contains the Roundup Ready® Corn 2 trait that provides safety for over-the-top applications of labeled glyphosate herbicides when applied to label directions.
Roundup Ready® is a registered trademark used under license from Monsanto Company.

Glyphosate Tolerant   Always follow grain marketing, stewardship practices and pesticide label directions. Varieties with the Glyphosate Tolerant trait (including those designated by the letter “R” in the product number) contain genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate herbicides. Glyphosate herbicides will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate.
