Maximizing Soybean Yields

Slide 1 of 4

ID Guide: Cyst vs. Root-Knot Nematodes

The presence of soybean nematodes is on the rise. Once in the soil they are able to survive for long periods. A field with nematodes may show areas of reduced growth with apparent nutrient deficiency symptoms. These areas gradually increase in size or the whole field becomes uniformly infected and low yielding. Since nematodes are easily spread by any equipment that moves soil, early detection and identification are critical.
