Results
- The addition of talc to treated wheat seed improved seed flowability from 3% to 11% over seed with no application of talc.
- Observation during application of talc suggests that thorough mixing of talc with seed produces the best results.
- Results of a 2014 Syngenta wheat plantability study showed the current Pioneer standard seed treatment (Dividend Extreme/Vibrance FST + Gaucho IST) measured higher for seed flow through the drill compared to Vibrance Extreme FST + Gaucho IST in various environmental conditions.
