Registration for the 2026 contest is now closed!
There will be 12 winners – 9 corn and 3 soybean (1 corn per crop heat unit (CHU) category per Pioneer district and 1 soybean based on highest yield of any soybean CHU category per district. *New for 2026: there will be an additional 3 winners for the top corn, soybean and canola yield across all categories nationally.
There are three (3) crop heat unit categories (based on CHU of anticipated field planted) for grain corn in each district:
District AC: <2950 CHU, 2975-3100 CHU, >3125 CHU
District AF: <2625 CHU, 2650-2800 CHU, >2825 CHU
