Soybean Trait Technology

Every Pioneer^® brand soybean is backed by industry-leading herbicide-tolerant trait technology — including the Enlist E3^® trait built standard into every Z-Series soybean, delivering superior weed control, ease of use and application flexibility. For Southern growers, BOLT^® technology adds plant-back flexibility following SU herbicide burndown or ahead of double-crop soybeans.

Enlist E3^® Soybean Trait

The Enlist E3^® trait is the newest addition to the Pioneer^® brand soybean lineup. The three tolerances — 2,4-D choline, glyphosate and glufosinate — combine to deliver the best in weed control flexibility for growers.

Bolt^® Technology

BOLT^® technology brings together multiple native sulfonylurea-tolerance traits. The improved stack provides greater tolerance to SU chemistries than the original STS^® gene.

Sulfonylurea Tolerant Soybean (STS^®) Gene

Soybeans with the STS^® gene work to improve tolerance to ALS-inhibitor herbicides, allowing for higher application rates of certain ALS-inhibitor herbicides without crop injury or stress.

Nemasphere™ — Next-Generation Nematode Resistance

Plant-parasitic pests are among the biggest threats to soybeans in the U.S. — and Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN) is the No. 1 nematode affecting the U.S. soybean crop. Today's control options are largely limited to native traits and seed treatments. Nemasphere™ is designed to change that, enhancing efficacy, pest spectrum, agronomics and durability against SCN.
